About Integrated Care Systems
On 1 July 2022, the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System was launched. This replaces the five Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) that previously existed in our area.
Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) are partnerships of organisations which come together to plan and deliver joined up health and care services for residents. Our ICS covers mid and south Essex.
What does this look like for our local area?
This is a unique opportunity to bring together the many different partners who support the health and wellbeing of mid and south Essex residents. Our partnership includes local councils, NHS providers, local watchdog bodies, charities and more.
Mid and South Essex ICS is focused on creating opportunities, supporting health and wellbeing, bringing care closer to home, and improving and transforming services.
